According to YG Entertainment, “Oh Yeah” was supposed to be released in Japan last November, but due to a series of scandals involving Big Bang, they postponed the release indefinitely. YG Entertainment told Star News, “The album is out but we have no plans for GD & T.O.P’s promotional activities in Japan. Since it’s the 15th anniversary concert, we’ve decided to release a limited edition album just for the fans that have shown us so much love over the years.”
JYJ Launches Private Project “Come on Over” with New Video
Just a few days after launching their official YouTube channel, JYJ has uploaded a new teaser video of their upcoming private project, “Come on Over.” In the one minute 50 second video, the three JYJ members are seen goofing around and having a good time, but it doesn’t give out much information on what this new project is supposed to entail.
2AM’s Japanese Debut: High Touch Event and Live Performance on January 14
As we reported earlier, 2AM’s concert tickets for their January 11 concert were sold out in 10 minutes on December 17, 2011. Today is the day of the concert and 2AM has been garnering a lot of attention. First off, 2AM arrived at the Haneda airport on January 10 and nearly 200 fans came to see their stars arrive. The 2AM members told their fans, “Happy New Years. We are now debuting in Japan. Please cheer us on.”
CN Blue Rocks the Hong Kong Leg of Asia Tour "Blue Storm"
CN Blue started off their “Blue Storm” Asia tour with their concert in Hong Kong. CN Blue held a concert form January 7-8 at the Hong Kong Asia World Arena. Nearly 8,000 fans that wanted to see CN Blue filled up the arena. CN Blue began the concert with “Intuition.” Afterwards they sang the songs “Ready N Go,” “Love Girl,” and Love Revolution.” During the ballad section of the concert an orchestra appeared and CN Blue performed “ Y, Why,” “Love Rides the Rain,” “Because I Miss You.” They finished the concert with the songs “I Am a Loner,” “LOVE,” and “Love Light.”
EXO Releases a New Teaser Introducing Se Hun
After releasing the teaser number seven, including members Kai and introducing a new member, Se Hun, EXO has unveiled a new teaser video today. Kara Begins First Asia Tour “KARASIA” Starting in Korea February 2012
Kara is moving beyond South Korea and Kara to conquer all of Asia! Kara will begin their first Asia tour beginning in February. On February 18 and 29 Kara’s “KARASIA” tour will begin in Seoul’s Olympic Park. Kara’s representative stated on January 11, “Kara has had a lot of fan meetings that were like concerts but they have never done full-blown concerts. Kara has grown as one of the leaders of Hallyu, this year they will stay true to that by meeting fans in various Asian countries.”
Monster and JYP’s Love-Child Headphones: Diamond Tears
Monster’s collaboration with Dr. Dre for the “Beats by Dre” headphones were highly successful. It was revealed on December 2010 that Monster and JYP had worked together to create a new line of headphones called “Diamond Tears.” The headphones will be released in the first quarter of 2012. The price of the headphones is a whopping $279.95. A “in-ear version” will be released in the later half of 2012.
