DBSK to Release Japanese Single “Superstar” on July 20th

DBSK will release their new single album in July. On July 20th they will release their single “Superstar.” According to the Japanese news source Yomiwoori, this album will have “I Don’t Know” which was used as Sogo Saibu’s commercial message (basically commercial). There will be two versions, one which is a DVD version and the other which contains the remix of “Superstar” as a CD version.

The Girl Group Kara Is Returning Back to Japan!

On June 29th Kara announced their fourth single “Go Go Summer,” and they are going to get on a plane for Japan on the 16th. For about 15 days they are planning to appear on television shows and do other promotions. A person that works for Kara stated on the 14th, “Kara will focus on Japanese activities with their new single,” “Kara will appear on popular Japanese music shows such as Asahi’s TV ‘Music Station’ and perform their new songs and also meet fans at Japan.”

T-ara Changes Their Leader

T-ara is currently preparing for entering the Japanese market and they changed their leader from Boram to Hyomin. Tiara’s entertainment agency stated on the 14th, “While T-ara performs ‘Roly-Poly’ in Japan and Korea Hyomin will be the leader.”

K-Pop Craze Makes Its Way to Latin America and Africa!

The K-Pop craze has increased its scope to include Central and South America (CaSA), as well as Africa. On June 11th, a representative of CaSA Korean Cultural Center stated, “We are planning on holding the ‘2nd KPOP Latin America Competition 2011’ in Argentina.”

Alex Has Surgery for His Spine

Clazziquai’s Alex has recently received treatment after suffering from a herniated disc. The injury was discovered three years ago, and Alex has been exercising to deal with the condition since then. However, his state has worsened over the last three weeks leading him to undergo surgery.

JYJ Completes “2011 JYJ World Tour Concert”

JYJ wrapped up the six-country “2011 JYJ World Tour Concert” on June 12th. For the finale of their second worldwide tour, JYJ held two consecutive live concerts on June 11th and 12th in Busan, to a jam-packed crowd of 17,000 fans from all over the world.
