2PM’s Wooyoung and 2AM’s Jo Kwon will each release their solo albums in June, Sports Seoul reported on May 22. With this album, Wooyoung will become the second 2PM member to have a solo album, following Junsu from last year. According to the report, Wooyoung has already hinted at the possibility last year when he tweeted, “We will soon shock the world,” with a photo of him working in a studio with Junsu. The reports quoted industry insiders as saying Wooyoung having a large following, even among 2PM fans, and having strong star potential, as Park Jin Young once called him, “The member with the best performance ability and singing talent.”
Kdramas that Star Idols Generally Have No Plot and Low Ratings
Despite high hopes from both producers and fans, “Love Rain,” starring Jang Geun Suk and Girls’ Generation’s YoonA, is far from being considered a success, let alone a mediocre drama, at home. As reported earlier this week, “Love Rain” has been recording low single digit ratings throughout its run, with its highest rating reaching only 6.4% and lowest falling to 4.4%. With only four more episodes to go, it’s highly likely that ratings will improve.
