Nichkhun "You Can Stay Under My Umbrella Ella Ella"

2PM’s Nichkun revealed a picture that showed all of his cuteness. Through his twitter he wrote on August 29th, “You can stay under my umbrella ella ella~♬ The cool No-Hand one” (Of course this is a play on Rihanna’s famous song Umbrella where the lyrics for the chorus was, “You can stand under my umbrella.”) In the picture, Nichkun is wearing a hat that has an umbrella attached to it and making a mischievous face.

Hong Seok-cheon Rejected By 2PM’s Junho

On QTV’s “Woman That Chooses Ranking” (Season 4) Hong Seok-cheon revealed that he was rejected by 2PM’s Junho. Hong Seok-cheon had appeared on the show as Ahn Sun Young’s best “girl friend.” The theme of the show was, “Who is the ‘woman that chooses ranking’ that you would not like to be friends with.” Lee Hwi Jae asked Hong Seok-cheon if his offer of friendship had ever been rejected. Hong Seok-cheon answered, “I was rejected by 2PM’s Junho.”

"K-Pop All Star Live in Niigata" a Resounding Success [Performances Included]

45,000 Japanese fans gathered at Niigata Big Swan Stadium on August 20 to watch many of the hottest groups in K-Pop perform. The artist lineup, which featured groups who are established in the Japanese market, consisted of CN Blue, BEAST, SNSD, Kara, 4minute, SECRET, 2PM, 2AM, Infinite, SISTAR, and Norazo. There were also special collaboration stages, including a performance from once-couple on "We Got Married,” CN Blue’s Jung Yong Hwa and SNSD’s Seohyun.

JYP Nation Holds First Concert in Japan

JYP Entertainment held its first Japanese concert, “JYP Nation in Japan,” at the Saitama Super Arena on August 17th. For over three hours, all of the top JYP artists, including Park Jin Young, 2AM, 2PM, miss A, Wonder Girls, JOO, Lim Jung Hee, and San E, went on stage to perform live and captivate the hearts of more than 12,000 fans in attendance. Although most of these artists have not made their official debut in Japan yet, more than 400 press members from 200 media outlets came to cover the event, proving once again K-Pop’s growing presence across the world.
