New Idol Groups Survival Strategy: Reveal the Ace First

The saying "the early bird catches the worm" now applies to idol groups and their members as the showbiz industry has become a battlefield of idols. Entertainment agencies no longer try to hide their newest idol members. Rather, they fully utilize the "Early-bird" members, or the "Aces," to make a group known to the public. The sooner a member of an upcoming idol group is revealed, the better chance the group has in surviving in the harsh industry. Different groups take different measures in revealing their aces and warming up to the public.

B.A.P. Releases MV Teaser for “Warrior”

The much anticipated boy group B.A.P. has finally released the music video teaser for their debut single, “Warrior.” The overall concept of the song is quite intimidating as it constantly shows a skull, sledgehammer, and fire throughout the teaser. Its strong beats and the siren sound in the back create an overpowering feeling.

Bang Yong Guk to Debut in New Six Member Idol Group B.A.P. Along with Zelo and Him Chan

Rapper Bang Yong Guk has finally been confirmed to debut as a six member idol group called B.A.P. On December 19, Bang Yong Guk’s management said, "B.A.P. will debut in January of next year. B.A.P. stands for ‘Best,’ ‘Absolute,’ and ‘Perfect.’" With a pretty much self-explanatory name, B.A.P. will be a six member group including Bang Yong Guk, Zelo and Him Chan.
