Blast From the Past: CB Mass and Dynamic Duo
Back in the day I was a big Korean hip hop fan with CB Mass (Now Dynamic Duo minus Curbin) as one of my favorite groups. As Soompi.com reported before, Dynamic Duo has returned from their military service. I wanted to write an article chronicling the journey of Choiza and Gaeko who are the current members of Dynamic Duo. (Because it is quite interesting!) Choiza and Gaeko met in 6th grade and when they grew up, they were part of an underground hip hop group KOD along with Sixpoint and ZASON.
Tiger JK, T, Simon D, and Dynamic Duo on “Running Man” Hip Hop Special
SBS’ “Running Man” is planning a hip hop special. On August 10th the “Running Man” PD Cho Hyo Jin stated, “We currently filmed the hip hop special for Running Man. We always wanted to have a hip hop special. For the show we had Tiger JK, T, Simon D, and Dynamic Duo.” When asked about the concept for the filming he stated, “We still have some more filming left so it’s difficult to go into the specific details, as you all know Yoo Jae-Seok enjoys hip hop and he is close to Tiger JK. The filming atmosphere was very good.”
Dynamic Duo to Return From Military in August
The hip hop group, Dynamic Duo will soon be released from their military service and they will hold an event to celebrate. According to their agency, in 2009 before Dynamic Duo went off to the military they held a performance with other military personnel and the performance for their release will be no different. In this event three hundred fans will be in military outfits. Also, the other members of their agency such as Supreme Team will be a part of the performance.
Lee Jun Ki, Lee Dong Gun, Epik High Among Others Participate in Dream Concert
A star-studded dream concert was held at Seoul Plaza where fans from all over the world got the chance to see their favorite male celebrities who are currently serving in the military. Celebrities include actors Lee Jun Ki, Lee Dong Gun, and Kim Ji Suk as well as singers Park Hyo Shin, Epik High, Andy (Shinhwa), and Dynamic Duo.
