In February, Kara’s Goo Hara shed tears during their first exclusive concert at the Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium. During a press conference before Kara’s concert at the Yokohama Arena on April 14 Goo Hara explained the reason for her tears. She stated, “After debuting I didn’t have a lot of chances to meet my family. Once I saw them I just began to cry.”

IU became the latest celebrity to join in on the April Fools’ Day pranks on April 1, as she jokingly revealed that she started dating someone recently. During the April 1 episode of SBS “Inkigayo,” IU opened up by saying, “I have a serious announcement to make.” She then went on to say, “I wanted to tell my ‘Inkigayo’ fans first when I get a boyfriend. I can’t reveal the name at this point but…”

Taiwanese fans were in for a surprise when Kara arrived at Taoyuan International Airport on March 29. Kara is in Taiwan for their first fan meeting with Taiwanese fans. About a hundred fans were on hand to greet Kara, and the surprise they got was the members’ new colorful hair styles. Han Seungyeon now has dark red locks. Nicole has a chic purple cut with bangs, making her look a bit like an anime character. Goo Hara has opted for medium-brown.
