Jay Park #4 on U.S. Billboard World Albums Chart

Jay Park’s first regular album "New Breed" ranked #4 on U.S. Billboard World Albums chart. This is Jay Park’s second appearance on the World Albums chart following last year’s entry with his mini-album, "Take A Deeper Look." "New Breed" also made its debut on the Heatseekers Albums chart at 16th place, garnering much attention from music fans all over the world.

Jay Park Changes Choreography For "Know Your Name"

Jay Park’s choreography for his new song, "Know Your Name" has been a hot topic among fans and the public in general. While it is very sexy, many have claimed it to be "sexually suggestive," specifically his duet with a female dancer.

Jay Park’s agency Sidus HQ announced on February 16, “On March 3, Jay Park will have his first solo concert which will be held at Seoul Olympic Park’s Olympic Hall.” A lot of preparations have been made for the concert by Jay Park personally. He took part in planning the concert, how to set up the stage, and also special guests that he made music with in the U.S.

Solo artist Jay Park has made his comeback through the release of his first official album, "New Breed." On February 8, despite the cold weather, Jay Park openly revealed his excitement for his comeback, smiling throughout the whole interview. His new album, "New Breed" contains songs of various genres, including electronic hip-hop and R&B. Many well-known musicians, both Korean and foreign, participated in the production of the album, including Rob Knox, the famous producer who’s worked with artists like Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, and Britney Spears.

On February 13 Jay Park revealed a dance practice video “Know Your Name” which is the title song of his new official album “New Breed.” The clip was posted on Youtube and is quite amusing. In the beginning Jay Park goofs off a little bit, but quickly begins to dance “in sync” with the other back dancers. In the middle of the performance he begins to dance with a female dancer. The dance has been dubbed “Playing with Fire Dance.”

Jay Park Regrets Mentioning Min Hyo Rin as His Ideal Type

Jay Park revealed that after the media reported his ideal girl was Min Hyo Rin, things became awkward between the two. Jay Park stated, “In the past, there was a time when I said ‘Sunny’s’ Min Hyo Rin is pretty. However, the media made it sound like she was my ideal girl. Afterwards, there was an awkward tension between us.”
