CN Blue became the first foreign band in 41 years to top the Oricon’s weekly single chart in Japan. Since going on sale on February 1, “Where You Are,” the group’s second major Japanese single, sold over 60,000 copies in the first week of its release, topping both the daily and weekly charts.

CN Blue’s agency FNC Music stated, “The second major single album ‘Where You Are’ which was released on February 1 sold 32,000 albums and reached #1 on the Oricon Daily Single Chart.” The songs “Where You Are” and “Feeling” was written and produced by Jung Yong Hwa. Lee Jong Hyun produced “Get Away.”
CN Blue First Korean Artist on Japanese MTV Unplugged
CN Blue appeared on MTV “Unplugged” which was the first as a Korean singer. They sang 12 songs for the filming of MTV “Unplugged” which was held on January 31 in Japan. There were 150 fans that were at the performance. MTV Unplugged began in Japan since July 2011. The Japanese version still stays true to its roots by having singers perform in front of a live audience with an acoustic feel.
