Recently it was discovered that Lee Hyori has received a personal gift from the world-renowned designer, Tom Ford. On January 1, Lee Hyori posted on her Twitter, "A world-renowned designer personally gave me an alligator-print bag. I’m very grateful but what do I do – is it a snake?" She also posted a picture of the bag.

SPICA, meaning "the brightest star," is comprised of members that K-Pop fans should already be familiar with. At the helm of the group is member Yang Jiwon, who almost debuted as Five Girls with top names like G.NA, Secret’s Hyosung, and After School’s Uee. Lee Hyori is holding another auction and she revealed that the profits will all be donated to an animal protection organization called “Kara”. On December 22, the sexy diva tweeted, “This is an online bazaar and it can be accessed by both national and international fans! Lee Hyori Reveals 2012 Calendar for Abandoned Animals

Lee Hyori revealed a picture of her calendar where she is posing with her dog “Soon Shim.” Lee Hyori wrote on December 15, “Lee Hyori’s Calendar is being sold now. One calendar is worth 12,000 won, delivery is free! The calendar is very beautiful. It is being sold at First Look, and you can only buy it online. Please tell your friends.” As seen in the picture of the calendar, it reads “Please don’t buy, please adopt.” Lee Hyori is well-known for her efforts in helping out abandoned animals and this calendar also seems to be one of her philanthropic efforts.

Court Orders Lee Hyori to Pay Up $190,000

The court ordered Lee Hyori to pay up $190,000 (Approximate Amount) as compensation for damages to Interpark on December 6. Interpark had sued Lee Hyori’s agency stating that they had lost money due to Lee Hyori’s plagiarism controversy. In 2009, Interpark had a modeling contract with Lee Hyori on August 15. They paid Lee Hyori $700,000, however in June of 2010, Lee Hyori was involved in plagiarism controversy and had to cease being a model.
