Celebrities Who Have Confirmed Their 2019 Enlistment Dates So Far

Although there are many stars, by virtue of their birth year, that are expected to enlist in 2019, people receive draft notices at different times throughout the year.

These are the celebrities that have already confirmed their enlistment dates this year:

BTOB’s Changsub

Changsub is the second member of BTOB to enlist after Eunkwang began his service in August 2018. In December, his agency, Cube Entertainment, announced that Changsub would be enlisting as an active duty soldier on January 14. He recently wrapped up his first solo concert just before enlistment.

B1A4’s CNU

Last week, B1A4’s CNU announced that he would be enlisting in the military on January 22. CNU made his debut as an actor in “Ms. Ma, Nemesis” in October 2018 and held a fan meeting event with the other two members of B1A4 on January 5.

Highlight’s Yang Yoseob

Yang Yoseob announced his enlistment back in October 2018. He will begin his service as a conscripted policeman starting January 24. He recently wrapped up his final episode of his radio show, “Yang Yoseob’s Dreaming Radio.”

Loco

Rapper Loco announced back in November 2018 that he would be enlisting as a conscripted policeman on February 7. He most recently collaborated with Gray on the single “Late Night.”

The following celebrities have not yet received the actual date of their draft notices but have passed their exams to become conscripted policemen or have otherwise announced their intention to enlist sometime this year: 

Highlight’s Lee Gikwang

Lee Gikwang has announced that he will be confirming his enlistment dates sometime in mid-January. He was accepted in the 363rd recruitment of conscripted policemen by the Gyeonggi Southern District Police Agency. He will be the third Highlight member to enlist and the second to enlist as a conscripted policeman.

BTOB’s Minhyuk

Minhyuk was accepted as a conscripted policeman back in August 2018. Although his enlistment dates have yet to be confirmed, he is preparing to release a solo album that is expected to be his last project before he begins his military service.

Yoon Ji Sung

Yoon Ji Sung has not received a draft notice, but his agency has stated that he expects to receive it sometime in the first half of 2019. He has applied for the conscripted policemen selection examination, but was not able to take the exam that day, and may be applying for the exam again in the future. Until then, he will be focusing on his new musical and his solo debut.

Shaun

In October 2018, his agency announced that the singer would be enlisting sometime in 2019, though the actual dates have yet to be confirmed.

Hanhae

Though his exact enlistment dates have yet to be confirmed, he passed the conscripted policeman exam back in September 2018.
