Well, okay, that’s not really news to anyone who’s ever seen this spirited actress take on role after role of rear-kicking protagonists (from dynasty-era policewoman to modern-day stuntwoman, she’s really got it covered). But it still makes for an interesting interview! Recently Ha sat down with CNNGo to discuss her latest movie, "Sector 7," in which she plays an oil drillship crew member who has to battle a deadly sea creature. Yes, often single-handed, because that’s how Ha Ji Won rolls.

Rain Tweets “I Can’t Breathe” from New Movie Set

Rain tweeted a couple of photos from the filming set of new movie, “Flight: Close to the Sun,” today. In the first tweet, he said, “All the staff has been filming here for over 24 hours…At least I rested for about two hours~” with a photo of the movie set and artificial cockpit that is used for one of his scenes.

Nicole Kidman Cast for Park Chan Wook’s (Oldboy’s Director) New Movie

Nicole Kidman has been cast in a lead role for upcoming movie, “Stoker,” which will be produced by “Oldboy’s” star director, Park Chan Wook. According to the U.S.-based movie site Indiewire, Park Chan Wook’s new movie has confirmed the casting of prominent Hollywood stars, Nicole Kidman, Mia Wasikowska, Matthew Goode, and Jacki Weaver.

Stars Attend VIP Premiere of "Arrow, the Ultimate Weapon"

The VIP premiere of the new movie "Arrow, the Ultimate Weapon" was held at Lotte Cinema in Seoul on August 1. The historical action drama takes place during the Joseon dynasty and focuses on a man’s search for his younger sister and her fiance, who disappeared amidst an attack by Chinese warriors. The premiere was attended by the movie’s stars, Park Hae Il, Ryu Seung Yong, and Moon Chae Won. Also in attendance were Son Ye Jin, Lee Min Jung, Han Hyo Joo, Cha Tae Won, Park Shi Hoo, Son Dam Bi, Min Hyo Rin, Park Ha Sun, Nam Gyu Ri, Seo Ji Seok, Lee Byung Joon, Ryu Tae Joon, and Kang Sung Yeon. Weekly Box Office Report: Final Week of July

Featured Film of the Week: Sector 7, In Sector 7, an underwater oil field located south of Jeju Island, Hae-jun (Portrayed by Ha Ji Won) is working as a marine equipment manager on an oil prospecting ship called Eclipse. Joining the crew later is Jeong-man (Portrayed by Ahn Sung-Ki), a former colleague of Hae-jun’s father, assigned to Eclipse as captain. Though his job is to oversee the withdrawal of the ship, he suggests conducting some drilling one last time. After 3 weeks of preparation, Hae-jun takes new recruit underwater, but he sinks to the bottom of the sea when his equipment fails. Shortly after crew members begin to turn up dead, one by one, their bodies viciously mutilated. What the few survivors soon discover is a transparent underwater creature they encountered once before. The viral monster infiltrated the ship through the drilling pipe and has been feeding on the crew to survive. For Hae-jun and his colleagues, a fight for their lives begins.
