“The Idols That Will Make it Big in 2012 Best 10” list from MBC Everyone’s “Weekly Idol” was released on January 7. None other than IU was number one of the list! Those that were a part of the survey were currently active idols such as the Wonder Girls, T-ara, Secret, and B1A4. These idols picked out whoever they thought would be the most popular of 2012. It is being said that they picked IU because it seemed like the “national niece” would probably still be as popular as she was in 2011.

Congratulations to Lee Min Ho! He has been chosen as an “Honorary Prosecutor.” He is basically a PR ambassador for Korean prosecutors. Prosecutors in South Korea are a lot more powerful than their counterparts in the U.S. Also they form another class of elite individuals. That is why many dramas portray them as elite figures and there are a lot of popular prosecutors as characters. (Example: Vampire Prosecutor, City Hunter) I find it somewhat ironic that Lee Min Ho is an “Honorary Prosecutor” because after all, his character in City Hunter was a rival with one! T-Max Has Officially Disbanded Due to Individual Pursuits
The group T-Max has officially decided to disband after four years. This decision was made at the end of last year. T-Max has decided to break up and each member has decided to go their own path. T-Max’s management stated, "Everyone gathered and had a meeting last year. The group decided that each member wanted to focus on their individual activities."
