Big Bang to Release Six Versions of “Alive” Album

On February 20, YG Entertainment’s official Facebook page released additional information for Big Bang’s “Alive” album. There will be a total of six different versions of “Alive,” which is Big Bang’s 5th mini album, with each member getting their own version aside from the group’s album. Online pre-order sales have been going on from February 15 and will continue until February 29 when the album officially gets released. You can place your order here or here.

Lee Jung’s "Private" MV Release Cancelled Due to Raunchy Scenes

Singer Lee Jung’s newest single "Private"s music video release is cancelled. The music video garnered much attention previously as Lee Jung himself casted actress Chun Ee Seul as the heroine. Moreover, 15 seconds and 30 seconds long teaser videos attracted much viewership and raised expectations of the upcoming full length music video.

Big Bang Unveils Final “Taeyang’s Talk” Video

With just one more day to go until their highly anticipated comeback, Big Bang released the final “talk” video featuring Taeyang. In the video, Taeyang says, “I think it greatly helped us. It really brought us back to our original intentions, and it gave me the time to really reflect upon myself.”

Jay Park #4 on U.S. Billboard World Albums Chart

Jay Park’s first regular album "New Breed" ranked #4 on U.S. Billboard World Albums chart. This is Jay Park’s second appearance on the World Albums chart following last year’s entry with his mini-album, "Take A Deeper Look." "New Breed" also made its debut on the Heatseekers Albums chart at 16th place, garnering much attention from music fans all over the world.

Girl Group JQT Disbands

The girl group JQT had gained interest because of their upcoming U.S. debut. They worked with American producer Melvin Brown and had already recorded two dance tracks and one ballad track. Besides Melvin Brown, JQT worked with the producing team Ray & Renny. However, on December 2011 the contracts of all the members with their agency GP Entertainment had expired. GP entertainment stated, “The members of JQT did not want to renew their contracts with GP Entertainment. That is why we have decided to disband JQT.”

2PM’s Thailand Concert a Success

2PM wrapped up a successful Thailand concert. First 2PM left for Thailand on February 16. On February 17 2PM held a “High Five” event with nearly 3000 fans. Also, on the same day during a press conference 2PM stated that they would be donating some of the proceeds from the concert towards “Red Cross Thailand.”

Kara’s Nicole Performs for "KARASIA" Through an Ankle Injury

Despite having an ankle injury Nicole still performed for the KARASIA concert. For the exclusive concert on February 19, Nicole got rid of the cast on her leg, taped it up, and went on stage to perform. During the first day of “KARASIA” and her single performance she hurt her ankle while leaving through a lift. After she got hurt, she did limp a little during performances but she still finished the concert. Afterwards in the prep room, she received acupuncture for her injury.

Drunken Tiger Gets a Reply from Oprah on Twitter

Hip Hop singer Drunken Tiger who was mentioned by Oprah Winfrey herself on Twitter couldn’t contain his excitement as was later shown by his tweets. On February 19, he tweeted, "I received a reply from Oprah Ajumeonni. Yahoo! I’m so going to be loved by Mirae now! Ya~hoo!"
