Kara’s Japanese DVD, "2012 Karadise, Paris," which was released on January 25, was ranked as the no.1 Variety DVD on Oricon DVD charts. According to Oricon, "2012 Karadise, Paris" sold 6,000 copies right after its release and such impressive sales places Kara on the general DVD chart as the artist of 7th most selling DVD.
Wonder Girls Release BTS Video of “The Wonder Girls” Movie
On January 31, the Wonder Girls released the first episode of their behind the scene video for “The Wonder Girls” movie. The roughly six-minute video shows footage of the girls practicing on the last day of training, as they head in to filming for the movie the following day.
Se7en Releases Making of Film for “When I Can’t Sing”
Following the release of his comeback single, “When I Can’t Sing,” earlier today, Se7en shared a making-of film for the music video of the song. Teen Top Chooses Wonder Girls over SNSD?
Idol group Teen Top, who recently made a comeback with hit song "Crazy," guest-appeared on SBS radio program "Power FM 107.7MHZ" and revealed their favorite girl group. In order to test Teen Top’s team work through questions, the show’s DJ Choi Hwa Jung asked, "Who do you like better between SNSD’s YoonA and Wonder Girls’ Sohee?"

FT Island is off to a great start with their fourth mini-album, "GROWN-UP." According to Hanteo charts, "GROWN-UP" became the most selling album offline within a day of its release. Moreover, the title song of the album, "Severely," which has been garnering much attention even before the official release, is already ranked highly on all of the online music charts.
Kim Hyun Joong Sells 100,000 Albums within First Week of Japanese Release
Kim Hyun Joong sold 100.000 copies of his Japanese debut single, "KISS KISS/Lucky Guy," which was released only a week ago on January 25. This puts him in the second place of Oricon’s Weekly Chart. Kim Hyun Joong already had a pretty big fan base in Japan from SS501 activities and TV shows "Boys Over Flowers" and "Playful Kiss."
CN Blue First Korean Artist on Japanese MTV Unplugged
CN Blue appeared on MTV “Unplugged” which was the first as a Korean singer. They sang 12 songs for the filming of MTV “Unplugged” which was held on January 31 in Japan. There were 150 fans that were at the performance. MTV Unplugged began in Japan since July 2011. The Japanese version still stays true to its roots by having singers perform in front of a live audience with an acoustic feel.
SPICA Kim Bo Hyung Used to Be a Trainee with 2NE1
It has just been revealed that Kim Bo Hyung of SPICA used to be a trainee of 2NE1. SPICA gained attention for being a part of Lee Hyori’s agency. Lee Hyori even appeared in their music video for “Doggedly.” Kim Bo Hyung is the lead vocals for SPICA and she trained with 2NE1 for over two years at YG Entertainment. In an interview on January 31 she stated, “I used to be a trainee with the four members of 2NE1. Then it was decided that 2NE1 would be made into a four member group. The CEO YG introduced me to Loen Entertainment and I am now a member of SPICA.”

As we reported earlier SNSD will appear on “The Late Show with David Letterman” on CBS January 31, 2012. The following day they will appear on “Live! With Kelly” on ABC. On February 1 (Korean Time), an online community board posted pictures of SNSD entering into the studio for the recording were shown. The members of SNSD don’t look too nervous and they are still sparkling. Each member is wearing something that gives off a unique vibe.
