Jang Geun Suk Kicks Off Japanese Arena Tour on a High Note

Jang Geun Suk held the first concert of the “2011 Jang Geun Suk Arena Tour The CRI Show in Japan ‘Always Close To You’” on Oct. 20 in Nagoya in front of more than 10,000 eager fans. Opening up the show with a group of dancers dressed in royal guard outfits, Jang Geun Suk started the concert on a high note with fancy performance and energetic live singing. Dressed as a prince, the talented actor/singer used special lifts and wires to enhance his performance on stage. He performed all four tracks from this Chinese EP album, including “Gotta Getcha,” “Shake It,” “Run Away,” and “Victory,” while he revealed “Mercurian” and “I Put Up with It Enough,” the two tracks specially produced for the Arena Tour, for the first time.

2NE1 Unveils MV Preview of Japanese “Go Away,” Gives Short Interview

2NE1 appeared on Japanese TV to unveil brief footage of their “Go Away” Japanese music video and talk about their filming experience. For the Japanese version of “Go Away,” 2NE1 recorded an entirely new music video with a much brighter color scheme and flamboyant outfits.

Taiwanese SNSD Wannabes “Super7”

On October 15, through YouTube the Taiwanese girl group “Super7” revealed their music video for “Mai Luo Suo.” They wore costumes that were very similar to SNSD’s “Hoot” concept. The 007 style costumes were almost the same. On the afternoon of October 20, the music video for “Mai Luo Suo” had nearly 36,000 views. The song itself has a simple chorus and repeating chorus. It is a “hook song” like the ones that made SNSD famous.

B1A4 Joins Jang Geun Suk’s Agency in Japan

Rookie group B1A4 signed a contract with Jang Geun Suk’s Japanese agency, making their venture into Japan official. “B1A4 signed a contract with Pony Canyon, one of the largest Japanese agencies, and will hold its debut showcase on Dec. 9 in Japan,” B1A4 and Pony Canyon said in a statement.

CN Blue Ranks #3 on Daily Oricon with "In My Head"

On October 19, the Burning, Lovely, Untouchable, and Emotional members of CN Blue made a successful Japanese major label debut with their debut single "In My Head" under Warner Music Japan. "In My Head" proudly claimed the number three spot on the Daily Oricon Chart on the day of its release. CN Blue recorded a first day sale of a 34,280.
