Super Junior’s Press Conference: “We’re Planning a World Tour”

Super Junior held a press conference for their new album “Mr. Simple” on August 4th, marking their official comeback to Korea in 14 months. Leetuek opened up by saying, “K-Pop’s center and leader, Super Junior is back. There were a lot of pressure too but through your growing love it turned into expectations.” The group’s leader added due to his age and mandatory military service he is yet to serve, Super Junior would like to promote this album for as long as possible. “We’re planning to run promotions for as long as possible with this album. But because of my military duty, this time we’re thinking of a world tour instead of an Asian tour,” he added.

News of Lee Hyori’s Next Album and Acting?

Many are interested in whether Lee Hyori will be making a comeback or not. Currently Lee Hyori has not released a new album since her 4th album released last year’s April. Lee Hyori’s agency stated, “Currently we are planning on releasing a new album within this year, we are currently accepting songs to put on the album. If something occurs that we can’t have an album this year, we have other plans for Lee Hyori to appear on variety shows.”

Bi-Racial Girl Group “Chocolat” to Debut Later This Month

K-Pop’s first-ever girl group predominantly comprised of bi-racial members will make their debut later this month. The group, called “Chocolat,” has two Koreans and three half-Caucasian, half-Korean members. All three bi-racial members have American fathers and Korean mothers.

2NE1 "Ugly" Without MR (Music Recorded)

Currently 2NE1’s performance of "Ugly" without MR (Music Recorded) is gainging a lot of attention. Getting rid of Music Recorded changes the sound so that the singer’s voice can be heard better. In the past, the MR would be removed from a live performance in order to critcize a singer, but nowadays it’s used mostly to prove that a singer is actually good at singing.
