The month of October is the starting point for one of Korea’s largest media companies to join forces with the Internet’s number one source for movie and TV show rentals. Avid movie lovers will now be able to enjoy twenty of CJ Entertainment’s hottest blockbuster hits on their computers, tablets, key gaming consoles and moble phones.

"My Way" Starring Jang Dong Gun, Odagiri Joe, and Fan Bingbing to be Released in December
Director Kang Je Kyu unveiled his $28 million World War II action drama "My Way," featuring more than 200 movie stars from around the world. On October 8, the eight minute trailer was played, showcasing the first half of the film at Woo Dong CGV Stadium in Busan.

On Oct 7, Ryu Seung Bum and Jung Yoo Mi won the Best Actor and Best Actress Awards respectively, at the 20th Buil Film Awards, held at the Haneulyeon Theater inside the newly opened Busan Cinema Center. Ryu Seung Bum won the Best Actor Award for his role as a prosecutor in “The Unjust,” co-starring Hwang Jung Min. He had won a similar award earlier at the 15th Fantasia International Film Festival held at Montreal in July. Jung Yoo Mi won the first Best Actress Award in her career, for her role in “Ok Hee’s Movie” as the charming Ok Hee who is loved by both her fellow university classmate (Lee Seon Gyun) and her professor (Moon Sung Geum).

For the film “Flight: Close to the Sun” Rain trained for 7 months as a real pilot. Rain stated, “For 7 months I felt like I was in the military. The hardest thing was not getting anything to eat. The opening ceremony for the 16th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) was held on October 6 at the Heaven Theater in the Movie Hall. At the sixteenth Busan International Film Festival, So Ji Sub attended the "Only You" press conference.
