"Flower Boy Ramyun Shop" is scheduled for 16 episodes to follow "Birdie Buddy" on cable channel tvN, premiering in late October.
Boom denied the recent plastic surgery rumors on the Sept. 15 episode of KBS “Happy Together Season 3.” The show’s hosts Park Mi Sun and Shin Bong Sun told Boom, “You returned with a much better looking face,” as Boom said, “Everyone I meet tells me I even lost weight around my nose.” Park Myung Soo added, “We thought you received corrective jaw surgery,” to which Boom responded, “I did get teeth whitening. Before I joined the military, I only did it on my front teeth, but recently I got my entire teeth done, and now I can flash a big smile,” making everyone laugh out loud.
Yoon Seung Ah has been cast as a leading character for an upcoming drama. The drama, titled “Brain,” will air Mondays and Tuesdays on KBS. It is scheduled to premier in November, taking over the time slot “Poseidon” currently holds.

However, ‘Radio Star’ will not become the main corner.” Currently, all of the big three broadcasting companies (SBS, KBS, and MBC) are all in a state of confusion because of Kang Ho Dong’s retirement statement. MBC is especially in red alert because of “Golden Fishery.”
The film “Today” that stars Song Hye Kyo will have its first premiere at the Busan International Film Festival. The distribution company of “Today” stated on September 16, “The film ‘Today’ has Lee Jung Hyang who directed ‘Art Museum by the Zoo,’ and ‘The Way Home” as the director and Song Hye Kyo as the heroine. The film was officially invited to premiere at the Gala Presentation of the Busan International Film Festival that will open in October.
The Korean Wave is even reaching North Korea. On September 15, the RFA reported that “Boys Over Flowers” is currently very popular amongst middle school, high school, and college students in North Korea. According to the broadcast, currently in North Korea there are only 21 episodes of the 25 that are being circulated in North Korea. Currently people are frantically looking for the final four episodes. It was said on the broadcast, “People that are selling Korean films illegally are trying hard to obtain the last episodes of ‘Boys Over Flowers’ but they aren’t having much luck. Whoever obtains the episodes and begins distributing them will make a lot of money.”
Lee Ji Ah briefly stopped her acting career after the divorce lawsuit with Seo Taiji. However, currently she is reviewing whether to appear on a drama or not. The temporary title of the drama is “Return of the Queen” and Lee Ji Ah has received the offer to appear as the drama’s main character. Lee Ji Ah’s agency Key East Entertainment stated on September 16, “She has received an offer to appear on the drama and the drama’s storyline and character are good, so we are positively reviewing the drama.” However, “She has not confirmed a decision to appear on the drama, and currently within Key East we are discussing when she should return to acting.”
