The Film "Unbowed" Reaches 2 Million Viewers

The film “Unbowed” reached 2,000,000 viewers within 14 days of opening. For one day on January 30 the film had 99,722 viewers pushing the total number of viewers to 1,974,049. According to “KOFIC,” on January 31 the film would have surpassed 2,000,000 viewers.

Kim Bum is showing a growth as an actor that is almost scary. Currently he is appearing on JTBC’s Mon-Tue drama “Padam Padam” where he appears as the guardian angel “Gook Soo” for “Yang Kang Chil.” (Portrayed by Jung Woo Sung) For the episode that he appeared on January 30 (Episode 17), “Gook Soo” tries to kill “Chan Gul” who framed “Yang Gang Chil” and made his life horrible. Kim Bum tries to stab “Chan Gul” with a knife but he fades right through him like an illusion and begins to cry. Here Kim Bum portrays the anguish at the fact that he cannot protect his charge as a guardian angel.

Yoo Seung Ho’s New Drama, “Operation Proposal” Releases Trailers

“Operation Proposal” is Korean remake of a 2007 Japanese drama, “Proposal Daisakusen,” that starred Yamashita Tomohisa and Nagasawa Masami. Yoo Seung Ho plays the role of “Kang Baek Ho” who has been friends with “Lee Seul” (played by Park Eun Bin) his whole life. It is only at her wedding to Lee Hyun Jin (“You’ve Fallen For Me”), that Yoo Seung Ho realizes that Park Eun Bin is the love of his life.

Lee Min Ho’s "City Hunter" to Air on Fuji TV February 6

City Hunter which stars Lee Min Ho and Park Min Young will be broadcast on Japanese Fuji TV. The decision was made on January 30 and the drama will begin to air from February 6 to February 29. The drama will air for one hour and five times each week. A Japanese broadcasting representative stated, “There is a lot of anticipation for City Hunter. The high quality of the drama has already been established, because the original manga is Japanese we believe that the moment it begins to air in Japan that Lee Min Ho will become a huge star.”

Superstar K3’s Chris was close to being sued by a group because of his “private life.” The problem was a personal meeting with a female member of his fan café. Around 10 fans argued that they were sexually abused.
