The Hong Sisters writing duo has announced that they’ll be back in 2012 with a new drama for KBS. Nothing else has been decided; just that they’re going to do a drama. But that’s pretty much enough to get the anticipation dial set to 10. Already the speculation’s begun for possible leading men, because as we all know, having a swoonworthy leading man is pretty much a given in a Hong Sisters drama.

It is said that the two stars Kim Ha Neul and TOP were to star in the new Korean drama “Absolute Him”, which is an adaption of the Japanese animation film “Absolute Boyfriend”. Both Japan and Taiwan have made popular drama adaptions of this movie. However, it turns out that their castings have not been confirmed yet and are still rumors.

SS501’s Kim Kyu Jong and f(x) member Luna will make their TV acting debut on the upcoming weekend drama “Go! Mrs. Go!” Luna is set to take on the character Seo In Young, Mrs. Go’s troublesome younger daughter. Kim Kyu Jong will tackle Nicky, an aspiring musical actor.
Lee Byung Hun to Return to TV?
Reports are out that Lee Byung Hun is being offered a role in the upcoming MBC drama “The King.” “The production of ‘The King’ is looking to score Lee Byung Hun,” drama officials said, according to local news agencies. It is further reported that the star is showing interest in the drama, but will be tied up with other commitments in the meantime. He is scheduled to be overseas for the rest of the year to film G.I Joe 2.
A Thousand Days’ Promise: Soo Ae Is Truly the Melo-Queen
Soo Ae showed off a wide range of acting skills through “A Thousand Days’ Promise,” from a bed scene to crying out in sorrow. Her character on the show is “Seo Yeon” who has fallen in love with “Ji Hyung” (Portrayed by Kim Rae Won) who already has a fiancé. Ji Hyung ends up marrying his fiancé and although Seo Yeon acts all cool on the outside, she cries when she is alone. Seo Yeon wants to hold on to Ji Hyung, but she decides to let him go.

SNSD’s Seohyun Picks Ban Ki Moon Over Johnny Depp
On the Oct. 17 episode of KBS “National Talk Show Hello,” SNSD’s Seohyun made a guest appearance and picked the U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki Moon over movie star Johnny Depp as her favorite idol. Appearing alongside SNSD’s Sunny, Seohyun shared a story submitted by a mother of a high school student who’s a fan girl of MBC “Star Audition” winner, Baek Chung Gang. Following the story, the two were asked if they were ever an avid fan girl of any celebrity in the past. Sunny responded, “I was once very surprised by Seohyun. She had a giant poster of Johnny Depp next to her bed. When I opened the door, I almost thought it was the real Johnny Depp.”

Despite having both American and Korean citizenship, Yoo Seung JOon appeared on different shows stating that he would still go through with his military service. However, the day he was supposed to enlist Yoo Seung Joon did not go through with it and he has been hated by the Korean public. Yoo Seung Joon was not allowed to re-enter South Korea, that is why he is pursuing celebrity activities in China.

Song Joong Ki made a shocking confession that he is dating. He had an interview with SBS “One Night of TV Entertainment” on October 19 and he said, “On a woman’s body there is a place that I am charmed with more than the face, I am the kind of guy that confesses my feelings for the girl first. The final cast line-up for season 2 of KBS 2TV’s real variety program "Invincible Youth" has been confirmed and this time it’s not the usual with seven members, but with eight. On October 18, KBS 2TV "Invincible Youth Season 2" production representative told "TV Report," “Season 2 will consist of a total of eight members.
