Could GD&TOP Vol. 2 Possibly be in the Works?

This past December charismatic leader G-Dragon and power rapper TOP of Big Bang fame got together for a highly overdue pairing as GD&TOP. They released an album, filmed music videos, and performed live on music shows. To no surprise they even won a few mutizens. GD&TOP were a duo made in heaven and their track “Knock Out”, which was a collaboration between them and American DJ, songwriter, and producer Diplo was nothing short of that! No doubt there was a true connection between these talents made. So it shouldn’t be too surprising if one party visited the other, right?

Big Bang’s leader G-Dragon has been selected by CNN as one of the reasons why Seoul is considered as one of the most awesome cities. He was introduced in an article entitled “50 Reasons Why Seoul is the World’s Greatest City” on CNN GO (http://www.cnngo.com). The CNN article stated, “There’s a reason Asian tourists have ranked Seoul as their favorite world city three years in a row. Actually, there are 50 of them,” enlisting various reasons related to Korean culture and tradition such as Bibimbap, Kimchi, Korean saunas (jjimjilbangs), and Taekwondo. G Dragon, alongside Yuna Kim, made it on the list of 50 reasons.

Big Bang Takes #1 on Oricon Weekly Chart for First Time

Big Bang’s second full Japanese album “Big Bang 2” has taken the top spot on Japan’s Oricon Weekly Chart, YG Entertainment said today. Released on May 11th, “Big Bang 2” was the highest selling record in Japan last week with a total of 65,000 copies, becoming the group’s first album to reach #1 on Japan’s most prestigious music chart.
