Goo Hara and Park Gyuri Are Each Other’s Mirror Reflection

On January 11, Goo Hara posted a picture on her Twitter with the following message, “Wearing our rehearsal clothing like couples, Gyuri unni and me are on the same level.” In this picture, the girls look like each other’s mirror reflection. Both are wearing a black and white T-shirt, black pants and both girls have their hair up in a small bun. Sitting in the same position with one leg up and holding their phones in their hands, the girls are looking to each other with a smile.

Kara’s Nicole Helps Promote the Film "My Way" in Japan

A picture of Nicole has spread across internet communities with the post “Kara Are Part-Time-Job Dols?” (The word “Alba” roughly means part-time jobs like newspaper delivery) In the pictures that accompany the post Nicole is shown wearing a staff tag that reads “My Way” in Japanese. She is shown wearing glasses and giving out flyers regarding the film.

SNSD Beats Kara and Reaches 1 Million Album Sales in Japan

SNSD broke 1 million album sales! As we reported earlier on January 10, Kara and SNSD were both in the race of reaching a million album sales first. (On January 9 Kara’s “Super Girl” reached 586,400 albums while SNSD’s “Girls’ Generation” had 734,800 albums sold.) According to Japanese Asahi News on January 11, “The Girls’ Generation album that was released on June 1, 2011 has reached 1 million album sales as of today.”

Winners Announced for 26th Golden Disk Awards (1st Day)

On January 11, the 26th “Golden Disk Awards” was held at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan. On today’s show, hosted by Super Junior’s Lee Teuk and Kara’s Park Gyuri, only the winners of the physical album awards were announced, as the winners for the digital sales category will be awarded at tomorrow’s event.

Kara Begins First Asia Tour “KARASIA” Starting in Korea February 2012

Kara is moving beyond South Korea and Kara to conquer all of Asia! Kara will begin their first Asia tour beginning in February. On February 18 and 29 Kara’s “KARASIA” tour will begin in Seoul’s Olympic Park. Kara’s representative stated on January 11, “Kara has had a lot of fan meetings that were like concerts but they have never done full-blown concerts. Kara has grown as one of the leaders of Hallyu, this year they will stay true to that by meeting fans in various Asian countries.”

Airport Fashion: SNSD, MBLAQ, BEAST, Kara and Other Idol Stars Heading to the Golden Disk Awards in Japan

Airports in Korea and Japan have been hustling and bustling for the past two days due to the major outflux and influx of top idol stars traveling to the 26th Golden Disk Awards in Osaka, Japan. For two straight days, January 11-12, the 26th Golden Disk Awards will be held. On the first day, Super Junior’s Leeteuk and Kara’s Park Gyuri will be the emcees. On the second day, it will be FT Island’s Lee Hongki and miss A’s Suzy.

KARA Gyuri’s Goddess Selca Picture

Girl group KARA’s goddess and leader, Gyuri, revealed a selca picture of herself during Kōhaku Uta Gassen. The singer uploaded the selca picture on her Twitter with the caption: “Before Kōhaku Uta Gassen.. I can’t believe that’s counted as last year already goodness” on the night of January 6.
