Secret will now focus on their Japanese activities. Last year in 2011, Secret debuted in Japan with their song “Madonna.” They also made “Shy Boy” a hit as well. So how will they go about their Japanese activities this time around? First their 3rd single “So Much for Goodbye” on February 29. This Japanese album will also include the songs “Love Is Long” and “Color of Love.”

Winners Announced for “1st Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards”

On February 22, the first-ever “Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards” was held in Seoul for over three hours. A total of 14 artists were given the “Artist of the Year” award, which was broken down by each quarter and month of the past year. There were a lot more artists awarded across 15 different categories.

Girls’ Generations’ Taeyeon has been chosen to emcee the first ever “Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards.” A representative from Gaon Charts stated, “Taeyeon has been chosen as the MC for ‘The 1st Gaon Charts K-Pop Awards,’ which will be held on February 22 at the Seoul Hannam Blue Square Samsung Card Hall.”

Secret to Hold First Japanese Tour in March

Secret launches their first Japan tour in early March. According to local news agencies, the four-member girl group will be in three cities and will play in the famous Zepp arenas to reach an estimated 6,000 of their Japanese fans. The tour will kick off in Zepp Osaka on March 5. It will continue on to Zepp Nagoya and will wrap in Zepp Tokyo on March 8.

Secret’s Zinger Garners Attention for Her Aegyo

Girl group Secret member, Zinger, attracted many male fans with her epic aegyo (act of cuteness). Zinger uploaded two pictures on her Twitter with the caption: “I am not eating it because I am hungry. You can call it a sign of affection. Sleep well. Good night ohyasmi (gibberish word) bbyong” on February 7.

9 Muses Grace The Runway in Japan

On January 25, Lee Sang Bong uploaded a picture on his twitter with the text, “Girl group Nine Muse has just finished their fitting for the upcoming fashion show. The ‘Japan Girls Collection’ show will take place in Shibuya, Japan, with around 12,000 guests.” The photo was of the group Nine Muse with Lee Sang Bong.
