"The Moon that Embraces the Sun" Writer: Ending Could Have Been Different

Earlier last week, MBC’s hit drama "The Moon that Embraces the Sun" came to a close. Upon the end of this "national" drama, there has been speculation that it could have ended differently. On March 16, writer Jin Soo Wan revealed this through an interview. According to Jin, the tragic death of Prince Yang Myung was planned in advance. However, except for Yang Myung’s death, the ending of "The Moon that Embraces the Sun" that was aired was very different to what writer Jin had planned.

On March 15, MBC unveiled a video clip showing the cast and crew breaking down in tears following the final shoot of “The Moon that Embraces the Sun.” The thee minute clip shows Kim Soo Hyun, Jung Il Woo, Song Jae Rim, and Jung Eun Pyo hugging and crying as they’re hit with various emotions.

The cast of tvN’s new "Flower Boy Ramyun Shop" showed up for their drama’s production press conference on October 27 at Seoul’s CGV theater. The drama is a romantic comedy centered around a ramyun shop: The heroine runs it, a talented chef cooks at it, and a high school chaebol owns it. On top of that, a staff of young pretty boys is brought in to work at it. "Flower Boy Ramyun Shop" premieres on tvN on October 31 and airs on Mondays and Tuesdays.
