"K-Pop Star’s" Star Studded Mentor Lineup

On the previous episode of SBS’ “K-Pop Star”, the top six contestants were announced as the winners of the debut project. Each of the six finalists were evenly divided and cast to one of the top three K-Pop agencies (JYP, SM, and YG). The finalists will begin the process to survive to the top five as they will undergo special training with their agency. The results of their training and who will make it into the top five will be broadcast live on April 1.

Yang Hyun Suk Proves He Was a Better Dancer than Current Idol Stars

Yang Hyun Suk, the founder and chairman of YG Entertainment, has been garnering renewed interest from fans for a recently uploaded dance practice video of him taken in 1996. On March 22, a video titled “Yang Hyun Suk when he used to break dance” was posted on an online community board. The video includes clips of Yang Hyun Suk practice and perform the dance choreography of Seo Taiji & Boys’ 1996 hit single, “Come Back Home.”

Yang Hyun Suk works as the CEO of YG, one of the three largest entertainment agency companies in the country and as a judge in SBS TV “K-Pop Star.” And he is finally making an appearance on a live show this Sunday for the first time in 16 years.

YG Yang Hyun Suk Doesn’t Believe He Could Make Another Group Like BIGBANG

In a recent interview at YG Headquarters, YG President Yang Hyun Suk revealed that he doubted he could create another group that was like Big Bang. He stated that “I’ll probably be producing a lot of groups in the future but I think it would be difficult to create a group like Big Bang, where the positive points of each member come together nicely like a well matched couple.”
