In its first day of sales alone, "TONE" has sold exactly 105,484 copies, outselling the #2-ranked album by over 80,000 copies. The album had already taken the top two spots on HMV’s pre-order chart prior to release.

In line with the release of their new album "TONE", DBSK are set to appear on the covers of Japanese magazines "JJ" and "Ray," which will both be released on September 23, days before the release of "TONE." In Japan, it is apparently "taboo" for two magazines from different publishing houses to use the same cover models on issues released at the same time. However, in an industry first, both magazines proceeded to feature Yunho and Changmin. It is also the first time both magazines feature a male duo.
