"Can’t Lose" Bargains Its Way to Extension

MBC drama "Can’t Lose" originally announced a four-episode extension, only to have it refuted by lead actors Yoon Sang Hyun and Choi Ji Woo, who only signed on for sixteen. Citing exhaustion (which is sadly the norm in kdramaland), they argued against the extension. After a few days’ negotiation, they’ve settled on a middle ground: a two-episode extension, bringing the new total to 18.

2PM’s Taecyeon debuts as an actor in Japanese drama “My 99 Days with a Star,” which will begin airing from Oct 23, during Fuji TV’s Sunday 9PM timeslot, also called “Dramatic Sunday.” “My 99 Days with a Star” stars Kim Tae Hee as Han Yoo Na, a Korean top star who has a secret romance with her bodyguard (actor Hidetoshi Nishijima) during an overseas shoot in Japan for 99 days. Taecyeon’s role as Tae Sung has an ambiguous relationship with Han Yoo Na that will keep the viewers guessing.
