B.A.P Becomes Cover Models for Taiwanese Magazine

After just four months since their debut, the members of B.A.P are riding the Hallyu Wave as they made the cover of Taiwan’s largest Korean pop-culture magazine “Trendy.”

The magazine might be Taiwan’s biggest Hallyu magazine though that’s not all. “Trendy” takes up 70% of all magazine sales on the market making it the second most popular magazine in all of Taiwan. Currently, B.A.P may have just two single albums under their belt (and two great ones at that). But the Best, Absolute, Perfect boys keep proving their greatness with each release and performance.

Dongho, U-Kiss’ resident maknae, was chosen as the cover model for men’s magazine “MAXIM.” A rather eye-catching photo of Dongho decorated the June issue’s cover. Along with making the cover an article regarding Dongho’s recent starring role in “Holy Land” was also included.

ZE:A’s Kwang Hee Got Slapped by Girlfriend and Gifted Perfume to a Female Celeb

ZE:A’s Kwang Hee revealed two interesting stories about his love life through MBC’s "Come to Play" on May 21. The first story was about how he was slapped by his past girlfriend. He said, "I once read in a book that when you fight with your girlfriend, you should not say anything and just tightly hug her." He continued, "So when I got into a fight with my girlfriend, I didn’t say anything and wrapped her in a bear hug. But she said, ‘What is this?’ and slapped me across the cheek," making the studio roar in laughter.

Top Girl Group Rankings Based on Fan Club Membership

Which girl group has the most fan club members? Recently, a ranking of the most popular girl groups was conducted using the total numbers of fan café members according to Internet portal site “Daum.” The group which came out on top was none other than SM Entertainment’s Girls’ Generation. Girls’ Generation had a whopping number of 284,600 members in their official fan café.

2PM’s Wooyoung and 2AM’s Jo Kwon to Release Solo Albums

2PM’s Wooyoung and 2AM’s Jo Kwon will each release their solo albums in June, Sports Seoul reported on May 22. With this album, Wooyoung will become the second 2PM member to have a solo album, following Junsu from last year. According to the report, Wooyoung has already hinted at the possibility last year when he tweeted, “We will soon shock the world,” with a photo of him working in a studio with Junsu. The reports quoted industry insiders as saying Wooyoung having a large following, even among 2PM fans, and having strong star potential, as Park Jin Young once called him, “The member with the best performance ability and singing talent.”
