Super Junior Releases Teaser Video for “Opera”

On April 11, Super Junior revealed the teaser video for their third Japanese single, “Opera.” The one-minute video gives a glimpse into the group’s upcoming Japanese MV, which has the Super Junior members appear as masqueraders. “Opera” is scheduled for release on May 9.

Kang In to Rejoin Super Junior This Year

Super Junior’s Kang In will complete his 21-month military service on April 16, officially becoming available to rejoin his old group. With his discharge from the military, fans are wondering if the original Super Junior member will attempt a comeback through his old group. After being involved in a number of controversial incidents in 2009, Kang In received a lot of negative press and many fans turned away from him, which led him to enlist in the army in July, 2010.

SISTAR Unveils Full MV for “Alone”

On April 12, SISTAR finally unveiled the long-awaited full music video for their comeback track, “Alone.” As reported before, most of the MV filming took place in Las Vegas. The MV depicts the fancy nightlife of Vegas while portraying the lonely and heartbroken emotions of a girl that goes through a breakup.

Big Bang Met with Great Enthusiasm in Their First Visit to Taiwan

YG Entertainment’s BIGBANG have arrived at Taiwan and have recieved a great reception from local fans, setting a record for the biggest crowd for a foriegn artist. Over 1200 fans had gathered at Taiwan’s Taoyuan airport on April 9 to welcome BIGBANG. When they arrived, BIGBANG were said to be amazed by the large crowds and greated their fans with a bright smile. A large quantity of fans present at the airport held placards asking BIGBANG to hold a concert in Taiwan, with local broadcasters capturing every moment of this event and airing it in their respective news programs.

Busker Busker Is Not Boycotting The Main Broadcasters

Popular singing group Busker Busker has had to make a statement refuting recent claims by an associate from the MBN Channel that Busker Busker were said to be boycotting the main terrestrial broadcasters (MBC,SBS,KBS) because they only wanted to perform in concerts for the rest of their lives.

T-ara Rejects 2 Billion Won Photoshoot Proposal

On April 10, T-ara left Korea for a backpacking journey through Europe. Before departing, T-ara held a surprise mini-press briefing to talk about their traveling plans. During the briefing, one of the journalists asked, "Didn’t you have a 2 billion won (approximately 1.75 million USD) offer from a Japanese publishing company?"
