Secret to Hold First Japanese Tour in March

Secret launches their first Japan tour in early March. According to local news agencies, the four-member girl group will be in three cities and will play in the famous Zepp arenas to reach an estimated 6,000 of their Japanese fans. The tour will kick off in Zepp Osaka on March 5. It will continue on to Zepp Nagoya and will wrap in Zepp Tokyo on March 8.

The saying "the early bird catches the worm" now applies to idol groups and their members as the showbiz industry has become a battlefield of idols. Entertainment agencies no longer try to hide their newest idol members. Rather, they fully utilize the "Early-bird" members, or the "Aces," to make a group known to the public. The sooner a member of an upcoming idol group is revealed, the better chance the group has in surviving in the harsh industry. Different groups take different measures in revealing their aces and warming up to the public.

This is also the first promotions for the group since they had a member change. It was announced two weeks ago that Joa, and Leeseul would be leaving to form their own ballad group. New members Hyo Eun and Min Hee have now joined Kayoung and Junyul to keep it as a four member group.

After School to Release Japanese Album

The members of After School are set to release their first Japanese album, "PLAYGIRLZ" on March 14. In keeping with their "showgirl" image, the members a decked out in gold and black clothing. Their strong sexiness is emphasized by their fishnet stockings, which show off their beautiful legs. After School debuted in Japan with "Bang!" followed by "Diva." "Bang!" showed off their drumline skills, while "Diva" showed off their tap dancing skills. In the album picture for "PLAYGIRLZ," the members are holding hoola-hoops, trumpets and sticks. Their expressions say that they are ready to start the show.

Se7en Ranked No.5 on Billboard World Albums Chart

Seven’s recently released mini-album including "When I Can’t Sing" made its debut on US Billboard World Albums Chart at the fifth place on February 10. Although the World Albums chart is not one of Billboard’s main charts, such accomplishment is very meaningful as Seven has not had a proper overseas promotion of his new album.

BEG’s Miryo Releases MV for “I Love You, I Love You” feat. Girls’ Generations’ Sunny

The Brown Eyed Girls’ Miryo released the full music video of “I Love You, I Love You” featuring Girls’ Generation’s Sunny. The second MV from Miryo’s first solo album, “MIRYO aka JOHONEY,” “I Love You, I Love You” is comprised of a lot of behind-the scene shots and clips of the recording studio. In particular, you can see some never-before-seen shots of Miryo filming her “Dirty” music video, as well as Sunny playing around with the BEG’s rapper.

Verdict on JYP’s Plagiarism Case

The court has decided that Park Jin Young is guilty for part of the lawsuit against JYP in the "Someday" plagiarism case. JYP Entertainment issued a press release on February 10 stating, "Our company is unconvinced by the court verdict in the "Someday" plagiarism case. We are preparing to make an appeal."
