MBLAQ Releases Teasers to Promote Their Concert, "Men in MBLAQ"

After announcing their concert, “Men in MBLAQ,” the boys have begun to garner more interest by uploading teasers to their YouTube channel, “jtunecamp.” A total of five teasers are to be released in the coming weeks, each starring a different member. Mir’s teaser was released on the twentieth, and Cheon Dung’s was recently uploaded.

SHINee Sets New Record in Japan

SHINee debuted at #2 on Oricon’s daily singles chart with their first Japanese single “Replay” on June 22nd. They also set a new record in first day shipments for a K-Pop artist, as it exceeded 120,000 copies on the first day. That is the highest figure for any K-Pop artist since Super Junior’s debut album that hit just over 100K and SNSD’s that recorded 80,000 copies for first day shipments.

Kim Hyun Joong Wants Four Children and Travel Space

Kim Hyun Joong appeared on KBS radio show “Ok Joo Hyun’s K-Pop Square” today and revealed his reason for saving up money. He said, “When I get married I want four children. That’s why I’m saving up right now. If I want four children, my future wife is going to have a hard time.” He continued, “I don’t think it makes any sense to die without traveling space once in your lifetime,” reasoning space travel as one of the prime reasons for his growing savings account.

KARA’s Gyuri has released her first solo single, “Look Only at You,” for SBS drama "City Hunter." “Look Only at You” features a twenty-four-instrument orchestra, as well as the acoustic guitar. With lyrics speaking of feminine sensibility, the ballad will serve as the theme song for Park Min Young, who plays the female protagonist, Nana, in "City Hunter."
