Lotte Entertainment who is the distributor for “You’re My Pet” stated on December 1 that the film will be released in 9 different countries: Japan, China, Taiwan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and Brunei. They also stated, “Please anticipate the results of the film.” Currently the country where the film is set to be released is Japan on January 21. It was reported that the film will be released in 100 different theaters. Korean film industry leaders hope that the film will begin a new trend of Korean films.
