Idol Singers Pick Taeyang and HyunA as the Next Rain and Hyori
Big Bang’s Taeyang and 4minute’s HyunA were picked as “the next Rain and Hyori” by other idol singers in this week’s MBC Everyone’s “Weekly Idol.” The survey asked a group of real-life idols to pick “five idol singers with the most potential to follow in the success of Rain and Hyori” and the most votes were given to Taeyang and HyunA, who beat out the likes of BEAST’s Lee Gi Kwang, Jay Park, SNSD’s Yuri, and G.NA. In particular, it was reported that a lot of the members of Infinite, MBLAQ, U-Kiss, and B1A4 voted for HyunA, arousing the interest of many fans.

HyunA put up a picture of her everyday life in the U.S. on twitter, October 11. The twitter itself has no message. However the post is accompanied with pictures. In both of them HyunA is wearing sky blue track pants. In one picture she is comfortably laying down on a bench while making a “V” sign. In another one she is gathering her legs together and making a cute expression with her face.
HyunA Makes Billboard’s "21 Under 21" List
On Sept. 27, Billboard.com released their rankings for 2011’s “21 Under 21,” a list of the twenty one hottest artists from around the globe all under the age of twenty one. 4Minute’s HyunA made the list this year coming in at number seventeen. This is not the first time a Korean act has made the list as just last year the Wonder Girls took the sixteenth place on the list. HyunA being nominated continues the Wonder Girls’ tradition.
