Kara’s Nicole Performs for "KARASIA" Through an Ankle Injury
Despite having an ankle injury Nicole still performed for the KARASIA concert. For the exclusive concert on February 19, Nicole got rid of the cast on her leg, taped it up, and went on stage to perform. During the first day of “KARASIA” and her single performance she hurt her ankle while leaving through a lift. After she got hurt, she did limp a little during performances but she still finished the concert. Afterwards in the prep room, she received acupuncture for her injury.
Kara Press Conference for "KARASIA" Tour
Before Kara’s “KARASIA” exclusive concert to be held in Seoul on February 18 they held a press conference. Goo Hara stated, “I think we will be able to show you a very fresh concert through our first exclusive concert. We were extremely nervous and also had a few mistakes during rehearsal but we will do better for the actual performance.” Seung Yeon, stated “Out of the members three of them have 6 years of singing since their debut. Of course we are happy but it was also difficult because we did not know what to show. After deliberation we decided what songs we would perform.”
K-Pop in Japanese Music Market Shows Steady Growth In Revenue
On February 16, Oricon released a revenue trends report regarding K-Pop artists’ music softwares and their sales. According to this report, the total revenue of Japanese music market has been steadily decreasing in past five years, but K-Pop artists’ Japanese music software sales has skyrocketed, reaching 24.4 Billion Yen in revenue.
Kara Releases First Photo Album “Je T’aime”
According to DSP Media on February 17, the photo album “Je T’aime” is about Kara’s first Paris trip. The photo album “Je T’aime” will contain a total of 340 unreleased photo cuts. There are also love letters written by Kara while in Paris for fans.
Japanese Fan Puts Kara on New Year’s Card
A Japanese fan of Kara, with the pen name "Hirochin," has created a New Year’s card with a hand-drawn illustration of Kara. Even though New Year’s has passed, it’s still a cute gesture. The members of Kara are all wearing kimono and laughing. As this is the year of the dragon, a pink dragon is floating across the top of the card.

IU, Nicole, and Hara Dance T-ara’s "Shuffle Dance" on "Inkigayo"
During the February 12 live broadcast of SBS’ “Inkigayo”, T-ara performed their catchy single “Lovey Dovey.” While the performance of “Lovey Dovey” took place singer IU along with Goo Hara and Nicole of Kara put on a show of their own. The three MC’s were caught in the act as they were seen dancing along to the song.
