Big Bang Unveils Taeyang’s Teaser for “Still Alive”

Taeyang’s teaser for Big Bang’s upcoming album “Still Alive” was revealed on May 23 through Big Bang’s official Facebook page. Just like G-Dragon and Seungri’s teasers, Taeyang’s teaser photo also shows only the outfit for his “Still Alive” promotions. Unlike the previous two teasers, Taeyang’s is comprised of leather pants wrapped around in leather belts.

However, his voice and way of singing can actually make you believe that he is a professional singer. Paul Kim is known as a strong vocalist who has made many covers of popular hit singles like Adele’s “He Won’t Go” and Katy Perry’s “The One That Got Away”.

Sighted! Big Bang Shooting Commercial in Korea

We heard Big Bang was shooting a TV commercial in Gwanghwamun Plaza this morning for the Visit Korea Year Campaign, so we made sure to run over there to snap some pictures for all of you Soompiers!

When we showed up, the boys were already on stage and getting ready to perform their little jingle for the cameras. After one shoot, they went downstairs and to the back, presumably to do some interviews or review what they had just shot. The second time around, we were able to go behind into their tent and see the boys upclose as they had Morgane, another Soompi Team member, ask the boys a couple random questions for an SBS interview segment.

The Winner for the Big Bang Dance Cover Competition Announced

Team "Trend Factory" won the Big Bang dance cover competition "FANTASTIC 1." The decision was made based on online voting poll as well as each members of Big Bang’s judgement. Trend Factory successfully parodied and portrayed props and each Big Bang members’ facial expressions in their cover music video of "Fantastic Baby" and received many compliments from both Netizens and Big Bang.

Big Bang’s Real Height Questioned Again

Netizens have once again come up with evidence to question Big Bang’s real height. Recently, a collection of photos were posted on an online community board under the title, “Conclusion to Big Bang’s real height.” The photo contains screenshot images of Big Bang members standing next to other celebrities, giving an easy look at how their height measures up to others.

IU Sends Video Message to Boyfriend

IU became the latest celebrity to join in on the April Fools’ Day pranks on April 1, as she jokingly revealed that she started dating someone recently. During the April 1 episode of SBS “Inkigayo,” IU opened up by saying, “I have a serious announcement to make.” She then went on to say, “I wanted to tell my ‘Inkigayo’ fans first when I get a boyfriend. I can’t reveal the name at this point but…”
