BIGBANG Unveils More Concept Photos for “Alive”

On February 29, BIGBANG revealed additional concept photos from their latest album, “Alive.” The photos have a somewhat abstract concept to it, following the same mask-themed photos we’ve seen in earlier pictures. The most stunning photos are perhaps G-Dragon’s picture with him strangled in chains, wearing what looks like a Chosun-era royal family hat, and Taeyang’s topless photo with him clad in tattoos.

BIGBANG’s T.O.P slapped fellow member Seungri. On the February 26 episode of MBC "Section TV Entertainment Relay," T.O.P drew laughter after slapping Seungri on the face. Seungri who recently made an appearance on MBC "Light and Shadow" boasted, "I have a talent for getting slapped. My cheeks are firm so the sound of the slap can be heard much better." Member T.O.P jumped at the opportunity to hit Seungri on the cheek as a special preview.

BIGBANG T.O.P’s Witty Answer to Idol Groups Five Year Life Span

BIGBANG T.O.P shared his opinion regarding the life span of Idol groups. On the February 26 episode of MBC "Section TV Entertainment Relay," the topic of the time left before idol groups break up was brought up. BIGBANG answered questions about what were their feelings now that they passed the expiration date of typical idol groups which is usually around five years. The reporter asked, "You passed the five year life span of most idol groups. How do you feel about it?" Member T.O.P chose to answer the question. He replied, "[Even though we passed the five year mark] it still could happen."

Big Bang Unveils Final “Taeyang’s Talk” Video

With just one more day to go until their highly anticipated comeback, Big Bang released the final “talk” video featuring Taeyang. In the video, Taeyang says, “I think it greatly helped us. It really brought us back to our original intentions, and it gave me the time to really reflect upon myself.”

Big Bang’s "Boxing" Photoshoot for "Vogue Korea"

The photos from Big Bang’s photoshoot with fashion magazine “Vogue Korea” were revealed. The interesting part about this photoshoot is the concept, which was “boxers.” The photoshoot received its inspiration from the film “Rocky.” It was a mixture of Big Bang’s unique styles and boxing champions. Each member of Big Bang also had their own concept. Daesung was the “Champion,” Seungri the “contender,” T.O.P. was a ‘Round Boy,” G-Dragon and Taeyang were both stylish trainees.
