Girl group Kara has announced to release their second Japanese album “Super Girl” in the coming month.
The release date of the new album is set to be November 23. Songs for this album include “Jet Coaster Lover,” “Go Go Summer,” “Winter Magic” as well as Japanese versions of songs from their third Korean album. Bonus tracks like “Mister” “Jumping” and “Step” will also be featured on this new album.
Female artist Yoon Mirae has revealed her new single, "Get It In." On October 25, this single will be released on several different music portal sites. "Get It In" is a combination of hip-hop and electronica and has a trendy melody and beat.
Kara’s leader Gyuri, who has recently been singing in musicals in Japan, will bring her performances over to her home country. From Dec. 6 until Feb. 5 of next year, she will be performing in the musical "200 Pounds Beauty" at the Chung Moo Art Hall Theatre in Seoul.
Big Bang’s Seungri and FT Island were announced on Tuesday to join 14 of K-Pop’s hottest groups who will perform in the 2011 staging of the annual Seoul Tokyo Music Festival. Seungri and FT Island beef up the already impressive line-up featuring Kara, 2NE1, SS501’s Heo Young Saeng and Kim Kyu Jong, MBLAQ, Brown Eyed Girls, Rainbow, ZE:A, Infinite, Teen Top, Dal Shabet, A-Pink, M. Street and singer Lyn.
The Brown Eyed Girls announced that their next song after “Sixth Sense” would be shocking. The Brown Eyed Girls had their last performance of “Sixth Sense” on October 23 for SBS “Inkigayo.” The song was released at the end of September. According to representatives of the Brown Eyed Girls, they will take a break at the end of October then they will release a repackaged album for their 4th one, and continue promotions through their next song. The new repackaged album will have the songs from the 4th album and also include the new song.
SHINee’s “THE FIRST” Japanese album’s release date is moved. According to the five-member boy group’s official Japanese website, “THE FIRST” will be released on Dec. 7, two weeks later than its intended late November release date.
