Acclaimed director Kim Ki Duk has won the grand prize at the New Horizons International Film Festival in Poland, for his controversial movie "Arirang."
Kim not only directed "Arirang;" he starred in it as well. In the movie, he reflects on the 15 films he’s directed, as well as the people in his life. The title comes from the name of a popular Korean folk song. Kim wrote, "Through "Arirang" I understand human beings, thank the nature, and accept my life as it is now."
