An update was made to the official YG Life blog in the form of a message on Friday. The post had been made in regards to the incident involving Daesung. On Thursday, Daesung paid a visit to the victim’s family to properly apologize and offer to pay for the victim’s entire funeral expenses. Along with that YG Entertainment’s president Yang Hyun Suk had made a detailed statement and apology concerning the matter on the YG Life Blog back on June 1st.

Daesung Apologizes to Victim’s Family, Agrees to Cover All Funeral Costs
Daesung made his first visit last night to the mortuary of the motorcyclist who got killed in Tuesday’s accident and apologized to the family members. The families of the victim said, “Daesung came a little while ago (Thursday night) with YG officials. We got an apology from Daesung and YG, and talked about future funeral arrangements as well.”

It seems like YG want to try and keep Daesung back from the public eye while the situation is fully sorted. This is a shame, especially as many fans were anticipating the teased the "Night After Night" appearance. It seems that the best thing for Daesung right now is to let the investigation run his course
Taxi Driver: "Daesung Shouldn’t Become Innocent Victim"
In an exclusive report today, local media Dispatch interviewed the taxi driver, identified only as Kim, involved in yesterday’s car accident by Daesung. He was the first person to spot the motorcyclist who got killed in the accident and the only witness of Daesung’s crash into his car.

On May 31st, Big Bang’s Daesung (full name Kang Daesung, age 22) was involved in a car accident that resulted in the death of a motorcyclist. During the briefing yesterday, the Seoul Yeongdeungpo Police commented the lack of skid marks on the road.

Around 1:30AM of May 31st, Big Bang’s Daesung was involved in a car accident that resulted in the death of a motorcyclist. The popular singer crashed into a taxi cab, whose driver stopped the car to help an already passed-out motorcyclist, at Yanghwa Bridge.
Police: Daesung Violated “Safe Driving Duties”
The Seoul police have released an official statement this morning regarding Daesung’s car accident that possibly might have killed an unidentified motorcyclist. The police said Daesung has violated “safe driving duties” for driving at 80 km per hour on a drive way with a speed limit of 60 km per hour.
