BIGBANG, 2NE1, and Se7en Joins Sean’s “10,000 Won Miracle” Project

YG Entertainment’s main artists have joined hands to help a good cause led by Jinusean’s Sean. On March 20, Sean tweeted, “2NE1, the 21st member of the ’10,000 Won Miracle,’ has joined us to help fund the construction of a children’s hospital. Our 2NE1 cuties who are warm-hearted, too~They even went to volunteer with me~” with a photo taken with the group.

Sean and Sandara Park Parody "When I Can’t Sing"

Recently to help out Se7en promote his song, “When I Can’t Sing,” YG Entertainment label mates Jinusean’s Sean and 2NE1’s Sandara Park made parodies on their SNS with different lyrics. Sean made the rap “When I Can’t do Hip Hop” on his twitter February 17. Sean wrote, “When I can’t do hip hop. If my Nike shoes disappear, if I can’t wear New Era anymore. Even if I don’t do events anymore, could you still love me.”

YG Family Concert Tour Successfully Ends

The YG Family Concert tour in both Korea and Japan successfully came to an end. This tour was in commemoration of YG’s 15th anniversary and featured the top YG artists such as Jinusean, Big Bang, 2NE1, Se7en, Gummy, Psy, Tablo and more. The YG family toured around Korea and Japan, reaching crowds of 20,000 people and more. Each team/artist showed strong and charismatic performances. Since it was the first joint concert in five years, fans showed a lot of love as well.

YG Artists Perform 41 Songs at “YG Family Concert Japan”

On January 7 and 8, YG Entertainment held its “15th Anniversary YG Family Concert” in Osaka, Japan, bringing in a total of 80,000 fans to both concerts. Starring its full YGE artist list, the concert featured 41 total performances by Big Bang, 2NE1, Se7en, Gummy, Tablo, Psy, as well as old-school hip hop group, JinuSean.

YG Family Concert in Japan Expected to Make $26 Million USD

YG Entertainment’s two city concert in Japan expected to pull in more than 30 billion won ($2,600,000 USD) in revenue. YG Entertainment is preparing for their YG Family 15th Anniversary Concert that is to begin this weekend. The YG Family will be performing at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan on January 7 and 8 in front of an anticipated crowd of 80,000. The same is estimated for the shows scheduled for January 21 and 22 at the Super Arena in Saitama. In total 16 million spectators will be in attendance for the two city tour.

Old School Rap Duo Jinusean to Perform at YG Family Concert

Old school rap duo Jinusean will get together for the first time in nearly four years for a special stage at the “15th Anniversary: YG Family Concert.” YG Entertainment said in a statement that Jinusean will give a special performance at the concert scheduled for December. Jinusean, the first hip hop group to debut under YGE, was one of the most popular rap groups in the 90’s and early 2000’s with hit singles such as “Gasoline,” “Tell Me,” and “A-Yo!” But they stopped all group activities after the “YG One Concert” in 2007 and have been focusing on individual careers since then.

On October 26, YG Entertainment started a special event on its official me2day page (me2day.net/ygonair) asking, “Who do you want to see the most at the 2011 YG Family Concert?” The entry post just a couple hours ago reads, “Special event run to celebrating the 15th anniversary, 2011 YG Family Concert! Pick the artist you want to see the most (at the concert) and leave the number as a comment below!”

Jinusean’s Sean Reveals Photo of New Daughter

Jinusean’s Sean revealed a picture of his new daughter, Hael, for the first time today on his Twitter page. “Let me introduce you to our Hael, the little Chung Hye Young. Daddy prays that you will not only have mommy’s beautiful face, but also her warm heart,” Sean wrote with the picture.
