Running Man: Great Wall of China Controversy

SBS’s “Running Man” gave an official apology because of causing a controversy for its subtitles. On the episode of “Running Man” that was broadcast on September 22 they described the Great Wall of China as being 8,851km long. Netizens on the message board of “Running Man” pointed out that describing the Great Wall of China as being 8,851km long is giving credence to China’s “Northeast Asia Project.” China’s “Northeast Asia Project” began in the year 2002, and is trying to include all of the history within China’s border as China’s own history.

SNSD to Fill in for Song Ji Hyo on SBS "Running Man"

Song Ji Hyo was hospitalized earlier today for dyspnoea, making it impossible for her to attend the filming for SBS’s "Running Man." The six members of SNSD will replace her for filming on September 19. Members Taeyeon, YoonA, Yuri, Jessica, hyoyeon, and Seohyun joined up with the cast at Goyang-si, Kyungki-do in the afternoon of the 19 to play an upgraded version of the ‘paired race’ that was played in an episode from July.

Song Ji Hyo Rushed to the Hospital for Dyspnoea

After fainting from fatigue earlier this week on September 16 and 18, actress Song Ji Hyo has been hospitalized once again for dyspnoea, a condition where it’s difficult to breathe. While filming for her MBC drama "Gyebaek" all night long through the morning of September 19, C-JeS Entertainment revealed that she fainted onset from an inability to breathe properly. She was immediately rushed to the hospital.

HaHa Confesses His Love on "Running Man"

SBS’s successful variety show “Running Man” aired its China special on September 18. The guests in this episode were the charismatic actor Kim Joo Hyuk, the beautiful actress Lee Yeon Hee and Kara’s Kang Ji Young. The “Running Man” members and their guests held a mission race through all of Beijing, running from the Great Wall through Shichahai and the Beihai Park.

SBS Responds to Yoo Jae Suk’s Lawsuit

Yoo Jae Suk has filed a lawsuit against one of Korea’s major broadcasting network SBS and his former agency STOM E&F for non-compensation of the entertainer’s appearances in 12 episodes of Sunday variety "Running Man." A representative of SBS replied, “We are just a little late with the payments, but we will certainly pay.”
