SNSD Taeyeon Is #1 Female Idol Men Want to Date for First Snowfall

From November 10 to November 30, a plastic surgery clinic did a survey of 1102 individuals. Taeyeon received number one with 41.1%. (453 people) 2NE1’s Sandara Park was number two with 26.4% (291 votes), Wonder Girls Sohee was number three with 21.4% (236 votes), and T-ara’s Eunjung was number four with 11.1% (122 votes). A representative of the clinic stated, “Taeyeon’s cute looks are the traditional female style that males like a lot. We believe that it is her ideal looks that made men pick her.”

This week’s SBS “Strong Heart” was an extension of last week’s episode with some special guests, including all five Wonder Girls members, 90’s pop star Lee Bon, and Turbo’s original member Kim Jung Nam. It started off strong with Super Junior’s Shindong giving a parody dance of Wonder Girls’ “Tell Me.” He gave his own rendition of Sohee’s famous “Uh Muh Na” expression from the “Tell Me” dance, and then all five Wonder Girls members joined the stage for a brief performance of “Be My Baby.”

In this episode, Wonder Girl’s maknae Hyerim talked about a time when the Wonder Girls were performing at the United States, and Ye Eun fell. Hyerim said, “Ye Eun Unni fell during the dancing part, but she was sitting down dazed out. I was really surprised and scared, so I went to her with the other members to help her stand up. However, So Hee didn’t know about it and she was dancing alone really enthusiastically.” After she said that, the audience burst in to tears of laughter.

The 26th Golden Disk Awards Announces Its Nominees

The 26th Golden Disk Awards has recently released its list of nominees for the album, digital album and most popular artist categories. The Golden Disk Awards are compiled from the sales performance and ratings of the judges in each of the categories. Nominees are culled from releases made from January 1 to November 30, 2011.

2NE1, Nichkhun, Tiffany, and More Pose for the "Letters to Angels" Domestic Adoption Campaign

Photographer Cho Sei Hon continues in his annual “Letters to Angels” campaign. Now on its ninth year, the yearly charity enlists celebrities to pose with orphans, who the photographer calls “angels,” for an exhibit that promotes domestic adoption. This year’s roster includes 2NE1, 2PM’s Nichkhun, BEAST’s Doojun, Yoseob and Dongwoon, CN Blue, Choi Ji Woo, Park Shi Hoo, Kim Hye Soo, Lee Min Ho and SNSD’s Tiffany.

Wonder Girls’ Sun Ye: “I Wanted to Die”

It looks like Wonder Girls Sun Ye is a headline making machine! Last week on the November 22 episode of “Strong Heart,” she revealed that she was in a relationship, and this week she stated that she wanted to die and made a very bad mistake while she was as trainee. Sun Ye was discovered in elementary school through SBS’ “JYP’s Elite Training Project,” and she said that “during my long trainee days I hit puberty.” She continued her story, “When I had been a trainee for about 4 years there was an incident where I had a breakdown. I shouldn’t have done that, but I did it because I wanted to die.”

T-ara’s Ji Yeon and Hwa Young Reveal Ideal Types

On November 27, the popular girl group T-ara, who has recently made their successful Korean comeback, was featured on MBC’s “Section TV Entertainment News”. When the program’s reporter asked the girls: ‘Did you know that the Wondergirls, who also made their Korean comeback recently, are allowed to date freely by their agency?’ The girls were not able to hide their signs of envy.
