Kim Hyun Joong’s official character, “U:ZOOSIN,” has been all the craze in Asia lately, selling over 50,000 items in a little over a month so far. According to local reports, sales of merchandise with this alien-looking character, which was first hand-drawn by Kim Hyun Joong himself on his official website (www.hyun-joong.com), has exceeded 2 billion won (approximately $2 million USD) recently.
BEAST, 4minute, and G.NA Sing Together for U-Cube
BEAST, 4minute, and G.NA all sang together. On July 19th, according to Cube Entertainment, Beast, 4 Minute, and G.na all sang a song titled “Fly So High” together. This song will be released on the 20th under the title of U-Cube (United Cube).

Not long ago the Japanese music video for powerhouse 2NE1’s “I am the Best” was uploaded to their official YouTube channel. Besides a previous teaser release of the Japanese music video, this is the first time that this particular version of the song was heard in full. The actual Japanese adaptation of the song isn’t available for purchase yet, but will be in the near future.

T-ara to Return with Retro Concept, Remake of "Bing Geul Bing Geul"
T-ara is giving a shot once more at a retro concept. On July 19th, T-ara’s agency Core Contents Media stated that T-ara would be releasing a new single which would be a remake of Na Mi’s “Bing Geul Bing Geul” which was a big hit in the 80s. T-Ara’s new song will try to keep the bright and fresh aspects of the song while giving it a more modern feel. On July 1st, T-ara had released the song “Roly Poly” and currently they are heading retro concepts. Currently, T-ara will have their first Japanese single in September, and start their entrance into the Japanese music industry.
T-ara’s Hyomin Faints, Rushed to Hospital
T-ara’s Hyomin fainted in the van on her way to an interview and has been rushed to the hospital, local media reported moments ago. “Hyomin filmed MBC drama ‘Gyebaek’ in the province early morning today, and was on her way to do an interview for her new movie ‘Gisaeng Ryung’ in Seoul, before she fainted in the car,” her representative said.
