9 Muses Grace The Runway in Japan

On January 25, Lee Sang Bong uploaded a picture on his twitter with the text, “Girl group Nine Muse has just finished their fitting for the upcoming fashion show. The ‘Japan Girls Collection’ show will take place in Shibuya, Japan, with around 12,000 guests.” The photo was of the group Nine Muse with Lee Sang Bong.

K-Pop Idols Add Star Power to Korean International Style Show in Japan

K-Pop’s frontrunners grace the three-day, Hallyu-fueled Korean International Style Show (KISS) in Tokyo, Japan. SNSD, Kara, BEAST, CN Blue, Sistar, T-ara, 4Minute, FT Island, After School, Secret, Rainbow and Infinite add star power to the event that intends to showcase South Korea’s thriving fashion industry.

Results from the 4th Idol Star Athletics Championship

The 4th Idol Star Athletics Championship was held as an MBC Lunar New Year special program on January 24. A whopping number of around 150 idol stars participated in this event but a few seemed to have received the spotlight such as B1A4’s Baro and Dal Shabet’s Gaeun. ZE:A’s Dong Jun and SISTAR’s Bora also showed undeniable talent.

On January 20, Ilgan Sports, a popular Korean newspaper in Seoul, did a special survey of idols, called Idol Research. It surveyed a total of 92 idols, 45 male and 47 female. The following idols were surveyed:

SISTAR’s Hyorin Releases Remake of "I Will Love You"

SISTAR’s Hyorin has already demonstrated her singing talents numerous times in the past and is an ex-winner on KBS2’s "Immortal Song 2." It’s safe to say at this point that she is an extremely talented singer. This time, she has taken another stab at singing for an OST, singing the famous song "I Will Love You" by Zoo as part of the OST for Samsung’s new Inter-Movie "I See Love 2."

Super Junior Wins Top Award at “21st Seoul Music Awards” (Winner List Included)

On January 19, Korea’s top artists were invited to the “21st Seoul Music Awards” held at the Seoul Olympic Gymnastics Stadium. Twelve of the top K-Pop artists were given the “Bonsang” award to recognize their work and popularity over the past year. But the “Daesang” award, given to the top artist of the year, was awarded to none other than Super Junior.
