Se7en Describes the High School "Boom"
As we reported earlier, Se7en’s appearance on “Strong Heart” which was broadcast on February 28 and March 6 showed a nervous Boom. Boom stated that he could not sleep the night before, because back in high school, Boom had told Se7en “Your rap is the worst.” On the episode broadcast on March 6, Se7en talked about how scary Boom was in high school. Se7en stated, “Boom is currently one of the best on variety shows. He was a very scary upperclassman in high school.” (Boom was two years above Se7en at Anyang Arts High School)
Se7en and Boom Share an Awkward Moment on "Strong Heart"
In a past appearance on SBS “Strong Heart,” Se7en had talked about a unique experience with Boom. Se7en and Boom went to the same high school. At the time, Boom was in his 3rd year of high school while Se7en was in his first. Boom asked Se7en to rap for him one day. After Boom heard the rap he made two thumbs down and told Se7en “You Are the Worst, You Are the Worst.”
SBS “K-Pop Star” Finds New Hosts for Live Broadcast in March
SBS “K-Pop Star” has found new MCs for its live broadcast slated for March. On February 9, the show’s main producer Park Sung Hoon told the press, “Yoon Do Hyun and Boom will be the live MCs.”
Boom and Suzy Transform Into “Boom-Sook and Su-Hyuk”
On January 27, Boom tweeted the following with a picture of themselves, “Boomzy vs. Suzy. Who is prettier? The forever pretty Suzy and Boom-Sook wearing a school uniform. Suzy is transformed into Soo-Hyuk? ” (The name Sook is usually used for a female name and the name Hyuk is usually used for a male name)

Dynamic Duo’s Gaeko, who recently became a father to an adorable baby boy named Rhythm spoke briefly about being a father and recieving advice from other celebrity parents. Dynamic Duo appeared on SBS Power FM’s open studio radio, "Fire Club 1999," on January 13 and were asked a few questions regarding Gaeko’s new role as a father. Boom asked, "What has changed the most now that Gaeko has become a father?"
U-Kiss Soohyun Doppelganger Is Boom?
Idol group U-Kiss member, Soohyun, is garnering attention for being Boom’s look a like. The singer uploaded a picture with Boom on his Twitter with the caption: “Everyone this is my brother. Boom hyung (older brother) is really handsome. Hehe I love you hyung” on January 7.
