"Sungkyunkwan Scandal" Producers Doing a Musical Drama to Compete with "Dream High 2"

The writer-director team behind the successful 2010 drama “Sungkyunkwan Scandal” are working together on a new project. Local news agencies report that director Kim Won Seok and writer Kim Tae Hee are currently developing a new musical drama set in high school for cable network Mnet.

Jang Geun Suk Warns, "Yoo Ah In, Are You Watching Me?"

While posing for photographs in a café during an interview with Joynews, Jang Geun Suk shouted in a joking taunt, “Yoo Ah In, are you watching me?” Both aged 24, the two have met much earlier in their careers, having starred in a "Skoolooks" school uniform commercial in 2005. Other similarities include how both have very strong individualistic personalities and fashion styles. Earlier, Jang Geun Suk also revealed that Yoo Ah In is the same-age actor that he is most concerned about at the moment. Of course, the increased concern for Yoo Ah In could be due to the latter’s movie “Punch” (Korean name: Wandeuk-ie), which is the current no.1 box office hit, for three weeks running. Everything about the story is unique, Wandeugi’s father is a hunchback and his mother is a Filipino. "Punch" begins firmly rooted as a coming-of-age genre, but turns into a family drama. It also deals with social issues such as gap, education, disability, and multi-culturalism.

On the November 2 broadcast of “One Night of TV Entertainment,” Yoo Ah In revealed that he never dated another celebrity after the age of 20 (Korean age). He debuted at age of 18 through the youth series, “Sharp 1.” Yoo Ah In elaborated, “Even though I am a celebrity myself, I think I have certain prejudices against celebrities.”
