22 Teams from Six Countries Compete in SBS "Hallyu Olympics"

During its upcoming Chuseok Special, SBS will be holding a "Hallyu Olympics," participated by 22 teams from Korea, USA, Canada, Taiwan, Japan and South Africa. They will compete in four competition categories — dance, resemblance to Hallyu stars, singing, and individual skills. During the preliminary auditions, there were participants from countries as far as Israel, Jamaica and Germany, proving how far Hallyu has spread all over the world.

SISTAR’s Soyou Almost Debuted as 4minute

SISTAR was a guest on Mnet’s "Beatle’s Code" on September 1st and member Soyou revealed that she almost debuted as a member of 4minute. "I was going to debut as a member of 4minute but I ended up debuting under SISTAR," she replied. The emcee continued by asking a rather sensitive question: "Who do you think took your place in the group?"

Jung Jae Hyung Talks About His Expensive "Hole-y" T-Shirt

On August 31, Jung Jae Hyung guested on MBC’s "Golden Fishery – Radio Star" variety program and tried to defend the 450,000 won (~ 425 US$) branded T-shirt he wore during his recent appearance on Infinity Challenge. The T-shirt had caught many viewers’ attention because of the tiny random holes punctured across the tee.
