2NE1 flew to New York City on December 9 for their performance at the MTV Iggy Awards. They won the “Best New Band in the World” award last month and will get a chance to perform live at New York City’s Times Square on December 12 (EST). Fashionista actress Gong Hyo Jin and girl group 2NE1 member Minzy are garnering attention for wearing the same outfit in different styles. Gong Hyo Jin was seen wearing the outfit at a festival while Minzy wore it at “YouTube Awards” ceremony. However, even though the outfit was identical the feel of the styling was very different, the reason was because of makeup and pants.

The four ladies will be performing their hit tracks before a live broadcast all over the world. This performance was thanks to their supportive fanbase voting them as the "2011 Best New Band In the World" on MTV IGGY’s six-week poll.

Now on its ninth year, the yearly charity enlists celebrities to pose with orphans, who the photographer calls “angels,” for an exhibit that promotes domestic adoption. This year’s roster includes 2NE1, 2PM’s Nichkhun, BEAST’s Doojun, Yoseob and Dongwoon, CN Blue, Choi Ji Woo, Park Shi Hoo, Kim Hye Soo, Lee Min Ho and SNSD’s Tiffany.
