Big Mama Member Lee Young Hyun Joins MBC “I Am A Singer”

Power vocal group Big Mama’s member, Lee Young Hyun, has joined the cast for MBC’s “I Am A Singer." The episode airing on January 16 will be an elimination round for the existing contestants. Following that round, Lee Young Hyun will join the recording on January 23. It will be the 13th round for the second season of “I Am A Singer.”

Three member Rhythm and Blues (R&B) group Soul StaR has come back into the music industry with a newfound determination and a new album, breaking their long absence of four years. Their new album "Rebirth" more than justifies their inactive status for four years, but Soul StaR promises much much more in the future.

Park Jung Hyun Releases Diva Project

On August 24th the production company Monster World Entertainment Park Jung Hyun released the album “Diva Project” which is a collaboration album with Big Mama’s Lee Young Hyun and So Hyang. This album is receiving a lot of attention because this is Park Jung Hyun’s first project after MBC’s “Survival: I Am a Singer,” and because she is collaborating with other top divas. The title song “Mermaid” portrays the feelings of the Little Mermaid who cannot fulfill her love. The song is set on the night before the Little Mermaid turns into a water bubble because she does not achieve love.
A production representative stated, “Because the best vocalists had gathered together it was very difficult to put all of their unique voices together.”
